Diana Theodores
Audio Biography Diana Theodores, PhD is a performance coach, trainer and international consultant. She promotes the principles of ‘great performance’ on the world stage for business leaders, teams and individuals. As a former theatre director, Diana passionately believes that inspirational models from the performing arts are powerful and relevant skills sets for 21st century corporate vision, leadership development and personal potential. This is confirmed by the many transformative moments she has had the privilege of sharing with top executives across the corporate sector. Diana is a founding partner of Theatre 4 Business, a UK and US based coaching and training company established in 2003. Through her energised presentations, master classes and workshops Diana offers an irresistible invitation for each of us to connect to our unique creative force and our capacity to communicate inspirationally. Diana regularly leads programs in High Impact Performance, Leadership Development, Presentation and Communication Skills and Creativity at Cranfield School of Management ‘s Praxis Centre and Centre for Customised Executive Development (UK), the Irish Management Institute (Ireland), and the Banff Centre for Leadership Development (Canada). She has also facilitated several retreats for women on leadership and creativity at The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. From 2010 Diana will be a featured performance coach at the London Speaker’s Bureau. For over twenty-five years Diana worked internationally as a theatre director, choreographer, arts correspondent, broadcaster, editor, university lecturer and author in the performing arts. She has staged numerous productions at the Abbey Theatre, The Royal Court, The Gate Theatre, the Samuel Beckett Theatre and many other professional stages. Over the years she has worked with many well-known actors, directors, choreographers and dancers. She has published several books on dance and is the author of hundreds of articles and reviews on dance and theatre. Diana lives in London, UK and in Newport, Rhode Island with her partner, Arno with whom she shares a boundless enthusiasm for vintage musicals and sauvignon blanc. Her married sons, Justin and Toban teach her about the art of adventure and living your dreams. Her grandson Cole keeps the world of wonder alight in her life. Having travelled to over 35 countries naturally she spends a lot of time on planes. Nevertheless she is woefully unsavvy about air miles. As a facilitator she aspires to elegant flip chart technique but this continues to elude her. She does not believe in coffee breaks but is always overruled. Diana holds a PhD from Trinity College, Dublin, an MFA from York University, Toronto and a BA from Bennington, Vermont. She is a certified NLP Coach from the NLP and Coaching Institute of California.
